If you ever wanted to know who I am in a nutshell, the above describes me perfectly. My full name is Amanda Leigh Cross but most people call me Mandie [or Mandy, Mandi, etc, etc]. I am on a few message boards online and so I shortened my name further and came up with De [I freakin' adored De on Clueless].
My screen name, normally, on those message boards was/is FaithsFollower. You can read more about that story here. Now, if you look at my Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, you will see that it's all the same. The name FaithsFollower/faithsfollower has kind of become my 'brand'.
Why did I decide to call my blog The Princess Diaries? Well, partly it's named after one of my favourite book series of the same name written by the fabulous Meg Cabot but mainly it's to remind myself that I am God's daughter. He is the King of kings thus I am His daughter and thus, I am a princess. A princess who eats entirely too many potato chips but a princess nonetheless.
I am a 4x kidney transplant recipient. My blood work sucks. I have bad veins. Once, it took ten tries to put in an IV before my mom stepped in and said that enough was enough. I have low energy, my body is not behaving the way I want it to, but I still wake up each morning ready to fight.
